I know Christmas is far away, but I already made a Helper Elf. Santa will be very busy during Christmas so some help of an Elf is always welcome. I love Christmas, especially when there's snow! Can't wait!
I had the chance to test this wonderful pattern :) It's a great pattern and you can buy it here. There is also a boy version, for who would like a boy Elf.
And because I had so much fun making it I thought to write a (short) post about it :)
On my Elf I added some bells and beads and stuff, you can do a lot of things with it.
And it will be a great Christmas gift, but not this one. This one is MINE. Haha. Do you also have made projects your kids, friends, husband or wife like and claim it as there own? And you can start over to make another one, hoping that one will be yours? Let me know.
I also have no idea how to call her. Any suggestions are welcome!
And here are some photos if my Elf:
Hope you like her as much as I do :)

Granny squares
Recently I started with crocheting African Flower animals. Also started to use my leftovers. I make small squares of them to sew or crochet together afterwards. For that I used a pattern from Arne & Carlos: knit-and-crochet garden. The pattern in the book is made for a doll house, but I used a larger hook to create larger squares :) (photo left from birdhouse)
The first African Flower animal I'm making is Smaug the dragon from Heidi Bears. It's a very detailled pattern. I already finished the front legs. The photo you see is from Heidi Bears's dragon, I won't show pictures of my dragon before he's finished :) But I can show a photo of the colors I'm using.
The second African Flower animal I'm making is Cro Kid-Dill the crocodile from nnattalli m. on Ravelry. It's also a very detailled pattern. I already finished the nose. The photo you see is from nnattalli m.'s crocodile, I aslo won't show pictures of my crocodile before he's finished :) But I can show a photo of the colors I'm using.

Start blogging again
It's been awhile I blogged about something. So I thought I start over and I blog about my own pattern that I published :D
It's a little devil that I made, for our Belgian football team playing on the FIFA World Cup 2014.
And here he is :)
You can buy the pattern through Ravelry :) It's available in US terms, UK terms and in Dutch.
